Danielle Friesen (b. 1997, Winnipeg, MB, Canada) is an emerging artist based in St Leonards-on-Sea, UK. Working from a foundation of drawing, she creates work that explores repetition, layering, and examined ephemera. Her practice engages with the fleeting and intuitive aspects of experience.

Danielle holds a BFA from NSCAD University (2025) and a Diploma in Graphic Design (2019). She has exhibited work internationally in group exhibitions and had a solo exhibition at the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax, NS, Canada.

Now with a studio in St Leonards, she continues to investigate the endurance of repeated mark-making and her ongoing engagement with found objects.
