Danielle Friesen (b. 1997, Winnipeg, MB) is an emerging artist based in St Leonards-on-Sea, UK.
Working from a foundation of drawing, she creates non-representational works that explore repetition, layering, and examined ephemera. Her practice engages with the fleeting and intuitive aspects of experience.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University (2025) and a Diploma in Graphic Design (2019). She has exhibited her work in group exhibitions and held her first solo exhibition at the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Now developing a studio practice in St Leonards-on-Sea, Danielle continues to investigate the endurance of repeated mark-making and her ongoing engagement with found objects.
